How It Works

From request to wheels-up

Flight requests are reviewed by our conservation team around the desired goals. Most partners hear back from a member of our program team within a day. Here is how it works.

Submit

Tell us the conservation goal, the geography, and who needs to be aboard.

Review

Our team evaluates fit against our five conservation priorities.

Co-design

We plan the route, timing, and outcomes with you and our volunteer pilot.

Fly

The LightHawk volunteer pilot donates the flight. You return with the imagery, data, and insights to act.

Close the loop

Share your flight feedback and imagery. It doesn’t just wrap up your mission, it helps build a case for the next one.
